This is a delicious and easy chicken recipe. It's made with boneless skinless chicken breasts, milk or cream cheese and herbs.
This creamy chicken recipe is a perfect meal for a weeknight! You can make it in about 30 minutes. It is flavourful without being too heavy or greasy. Serve this delicious dish with rigatoni and garlic bread for an easy dinner night!
4 chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons each of onion powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon each of dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
4 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon fresh chopped parsley
Freshly ground black pepper and Salt
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 cup of milk ( or cream cheese )
How to cook :
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place the chopped chicken breasts in a large roasting pan and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder on both sides of each piece of chicken (do not add any other seasonings).
Cook for 30 minutes or until juices run clear when pierced with a fork or knife.
Cook the minced garlic with the parsley, thyme, and rosemary for about one minute in the same pan or skillet, adding two teaspoons of olive oil.
Season to taste with salt and pepper then add milk (or cream cheese) and your cornstarch.
The cornstarch mixture should be added to the centre of the pan and quickly stirred until the sauce has slightly thickened. For a thicker sauce, reduce heat and simmer for another minute.
Once the sauce is done, add it to the chicken and sprinkle it with the extra herbs, if desired. Serve right away!
