No you will not be losing muscle or weight. As long as you lay off cardio this should prevent weight loss. You should be ensuring your protein intake is high and lay back on your cabs. Avoid all bad fats from your diet and stick to a high protein diet. This way it will help get rid of your gut. You may notice a decrease in scales but this will be mostly fat. Remember muscles weigh more then fat.
Also you can try doing some stomach crunches to keep your belly look firmer and tighter.
