Try This "Lazy" 10 Minute Fat Burning Workout

Either you’re looking for a quick workout on a day when you’re super busy or even a day where you’re just feeling lazy and want to get a quick workout in without taking too much time up. This workout is just that and will take no longer than 10 minutes and will give you a HIIT workout that comprises just 3 bodyweight exercises and can be done anywhere in your home or garden with no equipment required.

3 rounds should take you around 5 minutes but you’ll be doing 6 rounds for 10 minutes. That should burn a minimum of 200 calories and is an easy and quick HIIT session to get your metabolism firing and burn fat.


  1. Plank Press Up

30sec on, 10sec off

Assume the forearm plank position, your elbows below your shoulders. Lift one hand and place it on the ground, then the other, to get into the press-up position. Perform a press up, then return to the plank. That’s one rep.


  1. Squat

30sec on, 10sec off

Stand tall and look straight ahead, with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bend at your knees, maintaining an upright torso until the crease of your hips sinks below your knees. Stand up, then go again.


  1. Starjump

30sec on, 30sec off

Stand with your back straight and your feet together. Squat down halfway, then explode upward, extending your arms and feet to the side. Tuck them back in as you descend and land softly. Repeat without pausing.
